HK International makes dredging pumps available off the shelf or tailor-made to the needs of your specific dredging vessel. We can also upgrade existing pumps or provide sets of wear parts.
We make pumps ranging in inlet size from around 200mm to 1200mm. Most of our pumps are used in larger dredging vessels with pipeline diameters of around 800mm and larger.
Our pumps are available in designs optimized for all common types of dredging, ranging from high capacities pumps for hoppers to high pressure pumps for CSD’s with long delivery pipelines.
The pumps can be single-walled for submerged use or to save weight, or double-walled for inboard use and higher pressure. Pressure range from around 8 bars for first stage submerged pumps to around 40 bars for the larger dredging vessels with high capacities and delivery pipelines.
Most of our pumps use water seals but we can also provide other seals such as mechanical seals. The pumps can be driven by a conventional diesel engine with a bearing blocks that or an electrical motor with compact gearbox and variable speed.
All engineering and production is done in-house by our experts to optimally match the requirements of your project. To name a few:

HK International provides a range of standard ball joints from 750 to 1000 mm pipe diameter, designed to function under pressures from 15 to 30 bar. All models allow variations in angle up to 15 degrees. For non-standard ball joints we invite you to contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
Our foundry has decades of experience in producing wear parts for the dredging industry and is specialized in wear resistant materials. A range of compositions and hardness’s is available on request.
Our wear resistant materials are strong enough to withstand all your needs regarding mechanical and fluid forces.
The right choice for the impeller’s cast material depends on the dredge material. For dredging sand and clay we recommend high-chrome iron. When the dredging material is mostly composed of stone and rock (high impact) we recommend nickel-chrome steel.
